Using Artificial Grass On Your Conservatory Roof
Published: 09 August 2022
This summer has produced some really hot weather and many have enjoyed the sunshine, even if it has been intense at times! Many are also lucky enough to have a conservatory at our homes although they can become pretty warm during periods of hot weather.
Mr and Mrs C decided that their conservatory could benefit from some imaginative thinking as a way of changing the external appearance and producing some shade during the summer.
Synthetic turf is typically used in a wide range of applications including garden make-overs, playground projects, roof terraces, sports and games pitches, events and exhibitions, to name a few.
However, Mr and Mrs C felt that Perfectly Green artificial grass would be well suited to their conservatory project! They were able to select from a range of samples - 30mm pile to 42mm pile - which offered variations on tone, colour, shade, density and authenticity.
After we supplied the roll of grass requested, Mr C was able to easily trim the roll into the correct sized panels, using a sharp Stanley knife, fixing the panels into place with a Perfect Glue adhesive
The result is an excellent one!
- A softer, 'green space' visual appearance when viewed from outside or from the upstairs windows
- Shade within the conservatory during hot and sunny conditions - the glazed walls provide more than enough light during cloudy conditions!
